Business Cards, Menus & Stationery

The small print jobs get judged from closest range, because somebody is holding them. A business card is in a hand for ten seconds and a table menu is in one for ten minutes — both are worth doing on stock that feels like something.

What you get

Cards & Menus, done properly

Cards go on 400gsm as standard, with matt or gloss lamination, and soft-touch, spot UV or foiling when you want the extra. Loyalty cards run on the same stock, numbered or stamped. NCR pads come in two or three parts, sequentially numbered and glued or wire-stitched, for anything you need a duplicate of on site. Menus are laminated for wiping down or bound into a hard menu book with your name blocked into the cover, and we keep the artwork on file so a reprint after a price change is one phone call.

Before you order

What should you know before ordering business cards, menus & stationery?

Which business card finish should you choose?

Pick the finish for the impression you want to leave in someone's hand. Matt lamination is quiet and smooth; gloss makes strong colours jump. Soft-touch feels almost velvety, spot UV picks out a logo in gloss against a matt card, and foiling adds a metallic detail. BD Signs prints all of them on 400gsm stock, so even the plainest version has proper weight.

Laminated table menus or a bound menu book?

Laminated if the menu is wiped down between every sitting; a bound book if you want it to feel like a proper meal out. A laminated menu is the cheaper sheet to replace after a price change. A menu book with your name blocked into the cover is the first thing a diner holds, and it lasts. BD Signs makes both, from the same artwork.

How many parts does your NCR pad need?

One copy for every person who has to keep the record. A two-part pad gives a top copy for the customer and a duplicate for you; a three-part pad adds one for the office or the driver. BD Signs numbers every set in sequence, so a missing docket is obvious, then glues or wire-stitches the pad so the sets tear off cleanly.

How it is made

How does BD Signs make business cards, menus & stationery?

Designed in-house, manufactured in our own factory, fitted by our own teams. 30 years in the industry.

  1. Step 1

    Artwork matched to your brand

We set cards, stationery and menus from your logo and colour references, so the letterhead, the business card and the table menu all match the sign outside. You approve a proof before anything is printed.

  2. Step 2

    Print on the right stock

Business and loyalty cards print on 400gsm. NCR sets print on carbonless paper in two or three parts, numbered in sequence. Menus print on stock chosen for laminating or for binding into a book.

  3. Step 3

    Finishing

Cards get matt or gloss lamination, soft-touch, spot UV or foil. NCR pads are glued or wire-stitched. Menus are laminated to wipe clean, or bound into a menu book with your name blocked into the cover.

  4. Step 4

    Delivery and reprints

Everything is boxed and delivered. The artwork stays on file, so when a price changes or the cards run low, a reprint is one phone call rather than starting the job from scratch.

Business Cards, Menus & Stationery FAQ

What do people ask about business cards, menus & stationery?

Can you reprint our menu after a price change?

Yes. BD Signs keeps your menu artwork on file, so a price change is one phone call: tell us what has moved, check the proof, and the reprint follows. While the menu is open, ask yourself which dishes earn you the most. A reprint is the cheapest moment to move them to where the eye lands first.

Can loyalty cards be numbered or stamped?

Both. Loyalty and stamp cards print on the same 400gsm stock as business cards, so they survive a few months in a wallet. They can be numbered in sequence, which lets you see how many are out there, or left with boxes for a stamp. BD Signs can add the same finishes as your business cards, so the two look like a set.

Can our letterheads and compliment slips match our business cards?

Yes, and they should. BD Signs sets letterheads, compliment slips and business cards from the same artwork and colour references, so the whole set arrives matching. If we made your sign, we already hold those references, which means your stationery matches the fascia too rather than being nearly the right colour.
